Head of Security Portfolio Strategy and Field Integration

About the role

As Head of Security Portfolio Strategy and Field Integration at Google Cloud Security, you will lead the Customer Office function and own the global operating model that connects Product, Engineering, Sales, Security executive leadership and field execution. The goal is to deliver an advanced, integrated and autonomous cyber defence platform, turning customer requirements and feedback into strategic input for Product Management and Engineering.

Key responsibilities

• Build mechanisms to synthesize and prioritize customer needs as strategic inputs for Product and Engineering, and coordinate user pilots through to market availability.
• Align field deployment architectures and coordinate go-to-market technical strategy for flagship global transactions, government programs and Tier-1 MSSPs.
• Partner with GTM teams so sales and channel specialists incorporate customer feedback from global engagements.
• Enable cross-functional leadership across Product, Engineering, Sales and Consulting to harmonize go-to-market priorities and support investment planning.
• Develop a customer engagement strategy that optimizes inbound requests and proactive security executive presence, focusing on high-impact meetings and speaking engagements.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Cybersecurity, Engineering, Mathematics, Business or equivalent practical experience.
• 10 years of experience in cybersecurity technical sales, solution architecture, product management or customer success leadership.
• 6 years managing sales, channel or customer solutions teams across EMEA, Americas or JAPAC.
• Experience collaborating with Engineering and Product Management on product planning and release strategies, and with autonomous security operations and end-to-end security use cases.
• Ability to travel up to 50% of the time; preferred candidates have advised CISOs, CIOs and national cyber authorities and advised on sovereign SOCs and large cybersecurity transactions.
