Head Of Tendering And Contracts MEP

About the role

Our partner is seeking an experienced Tenders & Contracts Manager to lead the tendering department, succeeding a retiring manager with a structured handover. You will own the full process from opportunity identification to contract signature, directly influencing job awards and pricing accuracy.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and review a team of 5 Mechanical and Electrical Engineers preparing MEP tenders.
• Ensure tenders are priced accurately and align with actual project costs.
• Identify and pursue new high‑rise residential and commercial project opportunities.
• Prepare, review and finalise FIDIC‑based contracts and manage contractual risk.
• Lead client negotiations through to contract award and sign‑off.
• Report tender pipeline, win rate and estimate accuracy to the General Manager.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering (Mechanical preferred).
• Minimum 15 years of MEP construction experience with a strong track record in tendering and contracts.
• Experience leading a team of engineers or estimators.
• Career stability with at least 4 years at the current or previous employer.
• Fluent in Arabic and English, spoken and written.
