Head of Vendor Alliances & Marketing Strategy

About the role

This senior leadership position sits at the intersection of technology partnerships, vendor ecosystems and marketing strategy. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will shape commercial growth across South Africa and the Middle East.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and deepen strategic alliances with global vendors such as Red Hat, AWS, Confluent and Elastic.
• Capture and maximise vendor funding programmes, including MDF, rebates and co‑investment opportunities.
• Lead distributor relationships, manage pricing, tier negotiations and rebate flows across the region.
• Define and execute a B2B technology marketing strategy that drives measurable pipeline and brand positioning.
• Align partnership activities with sales, delivery and cloud teams to ensure commercial outcomes.
• Build and coach a high‑performing marketing team while establishing operating rhythms and accountability.

Required profile

• 10‑15+ years of senior experience in commercial alliances, technology partnerships or B2B marketing.
• Strong commercial and financial acumen, comfortable reading P&L and deal economics.
• Deep understanding of enterprise technology ecosystems and vendor programme mechanics.
• Proven ability to influence cross‑functional teams and drive regional integration.
