Head of Year (KS2) – Primary Teacher

About the role

Aldar Academies is seeking an experienced Primary Teacher to take on the Head of Year (KS2) role at Mamoura British Academy, starting August 2026. The position combines classroom teaching with leadership of the year group, ensuring high‑quality learning and pastoral care.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the KS2 year group, coordinating teaching, learning and well‑being initiatives.
• Plan, deliver and assess lessons across the Primary English National Curriculum.
• Manage a team of teachers and teaching assistants, ensuring compliance with UAE Professional Teacher Standards.
• Develop and monitor innovative, purposeful learning experiences for all ability levels.
• Oversee pastoral systems, supporting the well‑being of students in the year group.
• Contribute to school‑wide strategic planning, professional development and quality assurance processes.
