Head Therapist - Luxury Hotel Spa

About the role

A hotel belonging to the Accor network, which includes more than 45 brands, 5,500 hotels and 10,000 restaurants and lifestyle destinations, is looking for a Head Therapist in Dubai. The role leads the spa team and oversees daily spa operations, with opportunities for development and advancement.

Key responsibilities

• Supervise, train and develop spa therapists to ensure high-quality treatments and guest service standards.
• Oversee daily spa operations, including therapist scheduling, treatment room preparation, hygiene and safety standards.
• Monitor treatment and retail sales performance, implement sales strategies and achieve revenue targets.
• Manage spa inventory, stock control, product displays and supplier coordination.
• Assist the Spa Manager with recruitment, therapist assessments, performance appraisals and team development.
• Work with Front Office, Concierge and Recreation teams to improve guest experiences, promote spa services and maximise revenue.

Required profile

• Minimum 2-3 years of experience in a supervisory role within a luxury hotel spa.
• Recognised certification or diploma in Spa Therapy, Beauty Therapy or a related field.
• Proven leadership, team training and performance management skills.
• Strong commercial awareness and the ability to achieve sales targets.

Required skills

• Strong knowledge of spa treatments, retail sales and daily spa operations.
• Excellent communication, guest service and organisational skills.
