About the role
The Head Waiter leads the Guest Service team at Sheraton Dubai, ensuring every dining experience is memorable and seamless. This full‑time position combines table‑setting, guest interaction, and coordination with the kitchen to deliver high‑quality service.
Key responsibilities
- Set and arrange tables, maintain clean work areas, and ensure supplies are stocked.
- Communicate orders and special requests between guests and the kitchen.
- Serve guests courteously, respond to their needs, and present bills accurately.
- Uphold safety standards, follow company policies, and maintain professional appearance.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, moving, lifting up to 25 lb unassisted and 50 lb with assistance, and navigating uneven surfaces.
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than one year of related food‑and‑beverage experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, guest‑focused environment.
