About the role
The Head Waiter leads the Guest Service team to create memorable dining experiences for hotel guests. Beyond serving food and drinks, the role ensures every interaction feels part of a unique experience while maintaining safety and quality standards.
Key responsibilities
- Set and arrange tables, ensuring proper presentation and readiness for service.
- Communicate orders accurately with the kitchen and coordinate timing of service.
- Interact with guests, respond to their needs, and deliver attentive service.
- Maintain cleanliness of work areas, supplies, and service stations.
- Uphold safety protocols, company policies, uniform standards, and professional appearance.
- Perform physical tasks such as standing for long periods, moving on varied surfaces, and lifting up to 25 lb unaided (or 50 lb with assistance).
Required profile
- High school diploma or GED equivalent.
- Less than one year of related restaurant or hospitality experience.
- No prior supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification needed.
