Head Waiter

About the role

AlphaMind Group is seeking an experienced Head Waiter for its upscale restaurant Kira in Dubai. The role involves leading the front‑of‑house team to deliver exceptional guest experiences in a high‑volume, luxury setting.

Key responsibilities

• Welcome guests professionally, take accurate orders, and ensure high‑quality service throughout their visit.
• Lead and supervise waiters, runners, and other service staff, briefing them on reservations, VIPs, and promotions.
• Monitor table setup, cleanliness, and overall restaurant presentation, coordinating with kitchen, bar, and hostess.
• Handle cash, payments, and POS transactions accurately when required.
• Assist the Restaurant Manager with daily operational reports, stock checks, and incident communication.

Required profile

• Previous experience as a Head Waiter, Senior Waiter, Captain or similar in a high‑volume restaurant or hospitality environment.
• Strong knowledge of food and beverage service standards and excellent guest‑service skills.
• Good leadership, team‑management abilities and professional appearance.
• Ability to work under pressure, flexible to work shifts, weekends and public holidays.
