Healthcare Site Architect

About the role

Stantec is looking for a talented Healthcare Site Architect to join its architectural practice in the United Arab Emirates. The role involves overseeing interior architectural works for healthcare facilities, ensuring compliance with contract documents, and delivering high‑quality outcomes for a high‑profile client base.

Key responsibilities

• Support day‑to‑day site progress, monitoring, inspections, material selection and final finishes.
• Review and process interior shop drawings, submittals and technical documents.
• Answer RFIs related to interior architecture and coordinate with medical equipment suppliers.
• Review contractor change orders, claims and project record documents, providing recommendations to the Architectural Project Manager.
• Inspect delivered materials for quality and compliance, and manage interior inspectors.
• Prepare weekly technical interior reports and assist with start‑up, testing, commissioning and hand‑over of interior works.

Required profile

• Extensive experience (approximately 15 years) in healthcare facility project delivery and construction.
• Proven ability to coordinate interior architectural activities with multidisciplinary teams.
• Strong knowledge of contract documentation, inspection processes and claim management.
