Heart of House Specialist

About the role

The Heart of House Specialist supports the smooth operation of the hotel by providing essential cleaning and housekeeping services across multiple departments. Working at Le Méridien Fujairah, you will ensure that guest areas, kitchens, and laundry facilities are kept spotless and functional.

Key responsibilities

• Clean and sanitize dining ware, kitchen equipment, and guest room linens.
• Operate dishwashing machines, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
• Transport dishes, utensils, and linens between hotel areas.
• Maintain cleaning tools and report any equipment issues.
• Follow health, safety and quality standards at all times.
• Assist other departments with ad‑hoc cleaning tasks as needed.

Required profile

• Ability to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
• Physical stamina to stand, walk or sit for extended periods and to bend, twist, stoop and reach overhead.
• No formal education or prior experience required.
• Commitment to a safe workplace and professional appearance.
• Willingness to report accidents, injuries or unsafe conditions.

Required skills

• Operation of dishwashing machines.
• Use of linen washing and drying equipment.
• Basic maintenance of cleaning tools and equipment.
