About the role
The Heart of House Specialist supports essential hotel operations by ensuring clean linens, spotless dining ware, and well‑maintained equipment across kitchen, food & beverage, and laundry areas. This position is vital for delivering a safe, high‑quality guest experience in a fast‑paced hospitality environment.
Key responsibilities
- Maintain a safe workplace by following company policies, reporting accidents, injuries, and unsafe conditions.
- Operate and maintain cleaning equipment such as dishwashers, hand‑wash stations, and linen washers/dryers.
- Transport dishware and linens throughout the hotel, handling objects up to 50 lb without assistance.
- Uphold quality standards for cleanliness, appearance of uniforms, and professional communication.
- Develop positive relationships with other departments and support team goals.
Required profile
- No high school diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required.
- No prior related work experience required.
- No supervisory experience required.
- No specific license or certification required.
