Heavy Equipment Operator

About the role

Hyundai Saudi, which provides heavy equipment solutions and support for construction, infrastructure and industrial projects in the region, is hiring a full-time, on-site Heavy Equipment Operator in Dubai. The operator runs excavators, loaders and other construction machinery according to project needs and safety standards.

Key responsibilities

• Perform excavation and material handling
• Follow site plans and supervisor instructions
• Carry out basic equipment inspections and report mechanical issues
• Collaborate with site teams and follow health and safety regulations
• Maintain a clean and organised work area
• Complete required operational logs or checklists

Required profile

• Proficiency in operating heavy equipment, including excavators
• Experience in excavation and earthmoving, able to follow site layouts and project specifications
• Skills in equipment maintenance: routine inspections, basic troubleshooting and prompt defect reporting
• Familiarity with used equipment and its performance limits
• Relevant certification or licence for operating heavy equipment under local regulations
• Strong understanding of workplace safety and willingness to follow site procedures
• Ability to read instructions, site drawings and operational guidelines; basic English is beneficial
• Previous experience in construction, infrastructure or industrial projects is preferred
