Hijama Specialist

About the role

We are seeking a qualified Hijama Specialist to provide safe, hygienic, and effective wet and dry cupping treatments at Seven Dimensions Medical Centre. The role involves delivering patient‑centered care from consultation through after‑care while adhering to UAE healthcare regulations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform Hijama (wet cupping) and dry cupping treatments according to approved clinical procedures and your licensed scope of practice.
• Assess clients, obtain medical history, and explain procedure benefits, contraindications, risks, and after‑care instructions.
• Follow strict infection‑control, sterilisation, hygiene, and clinical safety protocols.
• Maintain accurate patient records, monitor clients during and after treatment, and respond to adverse reactions.
• Coordinate with physicians and other healthcare professionals for referrals or medical assessments.
• Ensure proper equipment maintenance and safe disposal of sharps and biomedical waste.

Required profile

• Valid DHA eligibility/registration.
• Diploma or certification in Hijama/cupping therapy from a recognised institution.
• Minimum 5 years of hands‑on Hijama experience.
• Strong knowledge of hygiene, infection prevention, and clinical safety.
• Excellent communication skills with a calm, caring manner.
• Arabic and English language proficiency.
• Current BLS/first aid certification.
