History Teacher (August 2027)

About the role

GEMS Wellington, Dubai Hills is looking for a History Teacher to start in August 2027. The school aims for a holistic education that builds academic results, character and co-curricular involvement, within a supportive, globally minded environment. The History department offers IGCSE and International A Level History alongside Edexcel A Level Politics, with strong results and opportunities to lead educational trips locally and abroad.

Required profile

• B.Ed, PGCE, PGDE or equivalent qualification in History or a related subject
• At least two years' experience teaching the National Curriculum for England
• Experience teaching within a British curriculum school
• Exceptional subject knowledge and a proven track record of outstanding teaching and learning
• Experience working as part of a high-performing teaching team
