About the role
The International Community Schools – Al Manhal branch is seeking a passionate History Teacher for the High/Secondary (IGCSE) level. You will deliver engaging lessons aligned with the UK curriculum and inspire students to develop a deep understanding of history.
Key responsibilities
- Plan and deliver History lessons in line with the IGCSE syllabus.
- Assess student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Utilise educational technology tools to enhance learning.
- Maintain effective classroom management and a positive learning environment.
- Collaborate with colleagues, parents, and the wider school community.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in History or Education.
- Minimum 2 years teaching experience in secondary schools using the British Curriculum.
- Strong knowledge of the UK History syllabus and assessment methods.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
- Commitment to inclusive, respectful, and culturally diverse learning environments.
Required skills
- Proficiency with educational technology tools.
