Hostess for Lifestyle Dining Restaurant

About the role

We are looking for a friendly and professional Hostess to be the first point of contact for guests at a leading lifestyle dining restaurant in Dubai. The role involves creating a welcoming atmosphere, managing reservations, and supporting the overall guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Greet guests warmly and escort them to their tables or waiting areas.
• Manage and update the reservation system, handling bookings and walk‑ins efficiently.
• Provide menu information, specials, and answer guest queries.
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness, hygiene, and overall restaurant presentation.
• Address guest complaints or suggestions and report them to the manager.
• Collaborate with the service team to ensure consistent quality of service.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years experience as a host/hostess in a high‑end restaurant or hotel.
• Fluent in English; additional language (Arabic, French, Italian, Spanish, Russian, Chinese) is a plus.
• Positive attitude, reliable, and guest‑oriented.
• Willingness to work flexible schedules, including weekends and evenings.

Required skills

• Knowledge of a restaurant reservation system.
