Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

The Housekeeping Attendant is responsible for ensuring that guest rooms and public areas of the hotel are clean, tidy, and fully stocked according to the hotel’s standards. This role works closely with supervisors and follows all health, safety, and environmental policies to deliver a pleasant stay for guests.

Key responsibilities

• Collect keys and daily assignments, and prepare the trolley with all necessary equipment.
• Clean and maintain guest rooms, replenishing supplies to meet the hotel’s Standards of Performance.
• Clean and restock bathrooms, adhering to safety and performance standards.
• Arrange and tidy guest belongings while cleaning rooms and bathrooms.
• Coordinate with Valet Service to collect guest clothing for laundry, dry‑cleaning, or pressing.
• Clean guest corridors, service pantries, and other service areas, keeping them organized and presentable.
• Report any maintenance‑related issues to the Engineering Department promptly.
• Consider guest needs in public areas and rooms to ensure courteous service and satisfaction.
• Uphold environmental, health, and safety standards in line with organizational policies.
• Adhere to the company’s environmental, health, and safety procedures and policies.
