Housekeeping Attendant

About the role

Hilton is hiring a Housekeeping Attendant for its Waldorf Astoria Ras Al Khaimah property. The role covers cleaning rooms and suites, maintaining room standards and providing guest service. It is a full-time position.

Key responsibilities

• Clean rooms, suites and other hotel areas as assigned: make beds, clean bathrooms, dust, vacuum and wash windows and tracks
• Report rooms as clean and available, and report maintenance issues so rooms meet hotel standards
• Strip dirty linens and towels, remove used amenities and replenish linen and guest amenities
• Check the maid cart for supplies and stock as needed
• Greet guests immediately and respond to special requests such as extra amenities or service time
• Clean balconies where applicable and clean public area sections as required
• Provide guest information on hotel services, activities and local attractions, and assist co-workers

Required profile

• Ability to arrive on time and when scheduled
• Physically able to move large objects such as carts, large bags of linen and ironing boards
• Physically able to operate cleaning equipment such as vacuum cleaners, brooms and spray bottles
• Ability to communicate effectively with guests and team members, verbally or in writing
• Ability to learn, follow and enforce cleanliness standards across the suite
• Ability to follow safety procedures and act in emergency situations
