Housekeeping Supervisor – Luxury Hotel

About the role

The Housekeeping Supervisor will ensure that guest rooms, public areas and facilities meet the high quality standards of EDITION hotel. Working closely with housekeeping staff and other hotel departments, you will coordinate daily cleaning operations and maintain a seamless guest experience.

Key responsibilities

• Inspect guest rooms, public areas and pool after cleaning to verify quality and resolve discrepancies.
• Run sold‑room reports, verify room status, prioritize cleaning tasks and update departure room statuses.
• Act as liaison between Housekeeping, Engineering, Front Office and Laundry to coordinate efforts and communicate issues.
• Prepare, distribute and adjust room assignments, and communicate changes to the next shift.
• Assist management with hiring, training, scheduling, evaluating, counseling and motivating housekeeping staff.
• Follow all company, safety and security policies, report maintenance problems and complete required safety training.
• Welcome guests, anticipate service needs, assist guests with disabilities and ensure a professional appearance.

Required profile

• High school diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 1 year of relevant housekeeping experience.
• Minimum 1 year of supervisory experience in a hotel or similar environment.
• Ability to perform physical tasks such as lifting up to 55 lb unaided and operating housekeeping equipment.
• Basic computer literacy for entering information and using point‑of‑sale systems.
