About the role

The Houseman position at Anantara The Palm Dubai Resort supports the housekeeping and guest service teams by ensuring all service areas, pantries, and storage rooms are clean, organized, and well‑maintained. This role is essential for delivering the high‑standard hospitality experience expected by Anantara guests.

Key responsibilities

• Respond promptly to all housekeeping and Guest Service calls (FCS requests) and ensure guest requests are completed efficiently.
• Maintain cleanliness of pantries, stores, and service areas, including daily cleaning of HK Tuk Tuk and multiple mopping of pantry areas.
• Inspect assigned block pantries and stores for maintenance issues such as fused lights, report them to the Housekeeping office, and address health and safety concerns.
• Assist room attendants by providing necessary supplies and help with extra beds or cribs maintenance.
• Ensure emergency exits are clean, free of debris, and properly lit; report any maintenance issues to the Housekeeping office.
• Monitor and report shortages of linen, guest supplies, and cleaning materials to the team leader.
• Collect recycling and garbage daily, ensuring proper disposal and maintaining a safe work environment.
• Complete end‑of‑shift reports with accurate information, manage the master key and phone, and communicate with the housekeeping office as required.
