Houseperson – Hotel Housekeeping

About the role

Wynn Al Marjan Island is seeking a Houseperson to join its housekeeping team for the new luxury resort under construction, supporting daily operations and guest service standards.

Key responsibilities

• Execute assigned floors and service areas according to daily briefings.
• Support departmental service standards, manage work assignments via FCS1, and handle chemicals and equipment safely.
• Remove and dispose of garbage, recycling, linen, and glassware following procedures.
• Stock floor pantries, linen rooms, and utility areas with required supplies.
• Clean guest corridors, public areas, storage areas, and fire exits to required standards.
• Assist with heavy‑duty tasks such as furniture movement, deep cleaning, carpet care, and room preparation.
• Deliver guest request items, operate and maintain housekeeping equipment, and report lost & found, maintenance defects, and safety hazards.

Required profile

• Previous hotel experience as a Guest Room Attendant is advantageous.
• Fluent in English (verbal, written and reading).
• High school diploma, vocational training and/or at least 1 year of work experience.
• Knowledge of FTG standards preferred; experience in a luxury hotel or resort setting.
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment with flexible hours, including weekends and public holidays.
