HR Generalist - People & Culture

About the role

A large professional services firm with over 76,000 professionals in more than 150 countries is looking for an HR Generalist to join its Internal Client Services (ICS) team, which sits inside the People & Culture function. The role provides the internal support that lets client-facing service lines deliver high-quality work, covering the full employee lifecycle and acting as a strategic partner to the business.

Key responsibilities

• Manage end-to-end employee lifecycle activities: onboarding, probation reviews, promotions, transfers, contract amendments and offboarding
• Prepare and issue employment documents accurately and in compliance, maintain employee records in HR systems, and coordinate visa, labour and immigration activities where applicable
• Support payroll administration with accurate employee data and timely submissions, and monitor probation periods, contract renewals and key milestones
• Respond to employee HR queries and guide them on policies and procedures
• Build working relationships with managers across service lines, advise on employee relations, and support performance reviews, calibration and talent management
• Assist with workforce planning, headcount tracking, engagement and wellbeing initiatives, and HR process improvement, dashboards and analytics
• Produce regular reports on headcount, turnover, recruitment, absence and workforce trends, and support compliance, audit and governance
