HR Officer

About the role

The Human Resource Officer supports various HR functions including recruitment, staffing, training and development, performance monitoring and employee counseling.

Key responsibilities

• Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop skills and capabilities.
• Assist with writing job descriptions and conducting performance evaluations.
• Organize staff training sessions, workshops and orientations.
• Monitor staff performance, attendance and manage personnel files.
• Coordinate recruitment and selection processes.
• Provide HR information and assistance to staff, supervisors and Council.
• Manage monthly KPIs and daily employee requests, working with the PRO.
• Oversee labor camp occupancy plans in line with municipality regulations.
• Prepare HR data and reports for the parent company in coordination with finance.

Required profile

• Maintain confidentiality and use sound judgement.
• Respectful, culturally and politically aware, flexible and fair.
• Demonstrate strong work ethics and consistency.
• 5–8 years HR experience in the UAE.
• British nationality preferred; other nationalities fluent in English accepted.

Required skills

• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Familiarity with UAE Ministry of Labour (MOL) requirements.
