HR Officer - Visa, Leave & HR Administration

About the role

CarniStore is looking for an HR Officer in Dubai who acts as the hands-on lead for HR operations. The role owns the full employee visa and PRO lifecycle, leave administration, HR documentation and day-to-day HR administration, ensuring compliance with UAE labour and immigration requirements. As the HR function grows, the role will take on more of HR policy, employee relations and people projects.

Key responsibilities

• PRO, visa and immigration: manage the end-to-end employee visa lifecycle through MOHRE, GDRFA Dubai / ICP and authorised service centres, including work permits, entry permits, change of status, medical fitness, Emirates ID, residence visa issuance and renewal; process cancellations and transfers; prepare and track MOHRE contracts and offer letters; maintain a live expiry register for employee documents; stay up to date with regulatory changes.
• Leave and attendance: administer annual, sick, maternity, parental, bereavement, study and unpaid leave; maintain leave balances and accruals, reconciling them monthly; prepare monthly leave and attendance inputs for payroll and leave settlements for Finance.
• HR documentation: prepare salary certificates, NOCs, employment and experience letters and embassy letters; keep digital personnel files complete, confidential and audit-ready; draft standard HR correspondence.
• HR administration: coordinate onboarding and offboarding, including resignations, terminations, clearance and visa cancellation; manage employee medical insurance additions, deletions and renewals; provide payroll inputs to Finance and support WPS requirements; act as first point of contact for employee HR queries.
• HR systems: use and populate the Odoo HR module, manage leave requests and approvals in the Odoo Time Off module, set up joiners and deactivate leavers, train staff on Odoo HR, liaise with the Odoo partner and produce regular HR reports.
