HR Operations Lead – Drive HR Strategy & Processes

About the role

Air Q Limited is seeking an experienced HR Operations Lead to oversee the day‑to‑day HR function in Abu Dhabi. The role will strengthen HR governance, optimise processes and ensure compliance with UAE employment regulations while supporting the company’s growth.

Key responsibilities

• Lead daily HR activities and supervise the HR team.
• Develop, review and implement HR policies, procedures, SOPs and standard forms.
• Identify gaps in HR processes and recommend improvements and controls.
• Manage recruitment lifecycle: job posting, screening, interview coordination, offers and tracking.
• Maintain accurate organisation charts, headcount records and job descriptions.
• Coordinate onboarding, probation reviews, transfers, contract renewals and off‑boarding.
• Drive performance evaluation cycles and work with department heads to set measurable KPIs.
• Support salary structure design, job grading and salary range maintenance.
• Verify payroll inputs and oversee attendance, leave and employee records.
• Handle employee relations matters, investigations and disciplinary actions.
• Prepare regular HR reports on headcount, recruitment, attendance, evaluations and movements.
• Maintain employee data in Odoo and collaborate with the ERP team on system enhancements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration or a related field.
• Proven experience leading HR operations in a fast‑growing organisation.
• Strong knowledge of UAE labour law and HR best practices.
• Excellent analytical, organisational and communication skills.

Required skills

• Hands‑on experience with Odoo HR module.
• Expertise in HR policies, payroll controls and performance management.
• Ability to develop and maintain salary structures and job grades.
