HR Specialist – Workforce Planning & Recruitment

About the role

The HR Specialist will support the implementation of the manpower activation plan and workforce maturity roadmap for a government‑focused environment in Abu Dhabi.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain role lists, grade information, hiring timelines, vacancies and staffing assumptions to aid workforce planning.
• Develop and update job descriptions, role requirements, competency expectations and related organisational documentation.
• Coordinate recruitment activities, including job description preparation, vacancy tracking, interview scheduling, candidate documentation and onboarding support.
• Maintain workforce trackers, employee records, grade information and HR documentation.
• Collaborate with shared services and HR stakeholders on employment processes, onboarding, employee services and HR requests.
• Support performance management processes such as objective‑setting documentation, performance tracking and follow‑up.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Public Administration, Psychology or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of relevant HR experience.
• Fluency in Arabic (Arabic only language requirement).
