HR & People Development Internship in Dubai

About the role

Chanel is seeking a motivated HR & People Development Intern for a six‑month placement in Dubai. Reporting to the HR Business Partner, you will support learning and development, internal communications and recruitment initiatives while gaining exposure to the luxury retail environment.

Key responsibilities

• Assist the People Development team with training plan management, including scheduling, room and catering arrangements.
• Coordinate communication for training sessions, send reminders and collect feedback surveys.
• Update and maintain training data sheets in Excel and prepare training reports.
• Support the internship programme by sourcing CVs, screening candidates, arranging interviews and contributing event ideas.
• Help the HRBP welcome new joiners from abroad, handling hotel and flight bookings and overseeing invoicing through COUPA.
• Participate in diverse HR projects and ad‑hoc missions as required.

Required profile

• Recently completed a degree in Human Resources, Business Management or a related field.
• Previous corporate experience and a strong interest in data handling.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English.
• Based in the United Arab Emirates.

Required skills

• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Familiarity with COUPA invoicing system.
