HR Specialist - Governance & Compliance

About the role

Emirates is seeking an HR Specialist focused on Governance & Compliance to support the HR department’s strategic initiatives. You will work in a fast‑paced, multicultural environment, collaborating with HR teams, Operations, Internal Audit and Enterprise Data & Analytics to enhance employee experiences across the people lifecycle.

Key responsibilities

• Support and embed governance and compliance practices across all HR processes.
• Collaborate with People Experience Design, Operations, Internal Audit and ED&A to assess and improve process effectiveness.
• Apply process‑improvement, quality‑assurance and continuous‑monitoring controls to systems, data and workflows.
• Conduct landscape assessments of People Experience processes and implement innovative solutions such as chatbots, AI‑driven steps and RPA.
• Ensure all employee‑lifecycle processes are GDPR‑compliant and aligned with international best practices.
• Research industry best practices in process governance, automation and business‑process improvement.
• Validate current and future process, technology and data needs for the One HR organisation.

Required profile

• Minimum 60 months (5 years) of experience in HR governance, compliance or related fields.
• Strong understanding of regulatory compliance, data governance and process standardisation.
• Ability to work cross‑functionally with HR, Operations, Internal Audit and analytics teams.
• Experience driving change management initiatives and supporting automation projects.
