HSE Engineer – Health, Safety & Environment

About the role

The HSE Engineer is responsible for developing, reviewing and updating health, safety and environmental manuals and providing professional guidance to field staff. This role creates and maintains loss‑prevention, safety and environmental protection programs for operational projects and ensures compliance with the highest HSE standards.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and update HSE standards, procedures and guidelines in line with company policies.
• Plan and prepare safety, health and environmental impact assessments for new projects.
• Maintain current HSE documentation and ensure accessibility for field teams.
• Identify high‑risk activities, conduct risk assessments and recommend control measures.
• Coordinate self‑inspection programmes and improve safety procedures based on operational feedback.
• Conduct audits of contractors and perform technical evaluations of equipment for HSE compliance.
• Support the development and revision of HSE policies, procedures and method statements.
