HSE Engineer

About the role

The HSE Engineer will implement and monitor health, safety and environmental policies across project sites in Abu Dhabi, ensuring compliance with UAE regulations and company standards.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections, safety audits, toolbox talks and risk assessments for electrical, excavation, cable laying and other infrastructure activities.
• Prepare and maintain HSE reports, inspection records, incident reports and safety documentation.
• Investigate incidents, recommend corrective actions and ensure proper use of PPE.
• Coordinate HSE requirements with project teams, subcontractors and client representatives, including TAQA project standards.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Engineering, HSE, Occupational Health & Safety or related field.
• NEBOSH certification (mandatory) and minimum 2 years of UAE HSE experience, preferably on TAQA projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE HSE regulations and site safety practices.
• Ability to work independently and manage site HSE requirements effectively.
