HSE Manager – Oil & Gas EPC Projects

About the role

Penspen is seeking an experienced HSE Manager to lead safety and environmental initiatives across large oil and gas EPC projects in Abu Dhabi. The role focuses on developing robust safety policies, conducting thorough risk assessments, ensuring compliance with local regulations, and fostering a proactive safety culture.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and continuously improve HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct comprehensive risk assessments and hazard analyses for all project phases.
• Ensure full legal and regulatory compliance, particularly with ADNOC requirements.
• Lead incident investigations, root‑cause analysis, and corrective action implementation.
• Provide HSE training and mentorship to project personnel.
• Coordinate with project management and client representatives to align HSE objectives with business goals.

Required profile

• Engineering degree in any discipline.
• NEBOSH IGC and other relevant HSE certifications.
• Minimum 20 years of overall experience, with at least 10 years in the oil and gas sector.
• Proven experience managing HSE on large EPC projects.
• Approved HSE Manager status from ADNOC.
• Previous experience with Project Management Consultancy (PMC) environments.
