HSE Officer

About the role

Kazamer Tax Consultant is looking for a dedicated HSE Officer to lead health, safety and environmental initiatives in our Dubai office. You will ensure a safe workplace, drive compliance with UAE regulations and support a culture of continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Develop, implement and monitor HSE policies and procedures.
• Conduct regular workplace inspections and recommend corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with UAE HSE regulations, company standards and industry best practices.
• Organise safety training, toolbox talks and awareness programmes.
• Investigate incidents, accidents and near‑misses and prepare detailed reports.
• Monitor the use of personal protective equipment and promote safe work practices.
• Perform risk assessments and propose preventive measures.
• Maintain HSE documentation, inspection records and compliance logs.
• Coordinate emergency preparedness activities, fire drills and evacuations.
• Collaborate with management to continuously improve safety performance.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or diploma in Occupational Health & Safety, Environmental Science, Engineering or related field.
• 2–5 years of experience as an HSE Officer or in a similar safety role.
• Strong knowledge of UAE health, safety and environmental regulations.
• Professional certifications such as NEBOSH, IOSH, OSHA or equivalent are highly preferred.
• Excellent communication, leadership and problem‑solving abilities.
