HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will support an international engineering client by promoting and maintaining a safe and healthy working environment across all operations. The role ensures compliance with health, safety and environmental legislation, company policies and international standards.

Key responsibilities

• Identify workplace risks, conduct inspections and audits, and lead safety training initiatives.
• Investigate incidents, perform root‑cause analysis and support continuous improvement of the safety culture.
• Develop and maintain emergency response plans and ensure proper HSE reporting and documentation.
• Monitor compliance with ISO 45001, ISO 14001 and local health & safety legislation.

Required profile

• Experience in manufacturing or construction environments.
• NEBOSH, IOSH or equivalent HSE qualifications.
• Lead Auditor certification for ISO 45001 and knowledge of ISO 14001.
• First Aid, safety and response certifications.
• UAE driving licence and strong English communication skills.
