HSE Officer

About the role

The HSE Officer will lead health, safety and environmental initiatives across construction and landscape projects, ensuring compliance with regulations and promoting a safe workplace.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular site inspections to identify and address potential HSE hazards.
• Develop, implement, and maintain HSE policies and procedures in line with relevant standards.
• Perform risk assessments and recommend hazard control measures.
• Organize and deliver safety training programs for construction and landscape teams.
• Investigate incidents, accidents, or near‑misses and prepare detailed reports with corrective actions.
• Collaborate with project managers, engineers, and contractors to integrate HSE requirements into project planning.
• Monitor and evaluate the effectiveness of HSE programs and initiatives.
• Ensure proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) by all personnel.
• Advise on waste management and environmental sustainability practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree or diploma in occupational health and safety, environmental science, engineering, or related field.
• Relevant certifications such as CSP, NEBOSH, or equivalent.

Required skills

• Proficient computer skills.
