HSE Officer – UAE National (Construction)

About the role

Parsons is seeking a motivated HSE Officer who is an UAE national to join its construction teams in Dubai and Sharjah. You will support project and site personnel by ensuring safe work practices, compliance with local regulations, and promotion of a Zero Accidents culture.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor site activities to verify adherence to OSHAD, government regulations and Parsons HSE policies.
• Provide HSE guidance, conduct inspections, safety walk‑downs and participate in HSE meetings and campaigns.
• Deliver HSE inductions and safety awareness sessions for workers and visitors.
• Assist in incident and near‑miss investigations, report hazards and coordinate corrective actions with contractors and the HSE team.
• Identify unsafe conditions, propose practical solutions and recognise good HSE performance.

Required profile

• Diploma/Degree in any discipline or a high‑school diploma; fresh graduates are welcome.
• UAE national.
• Strong English communication and interpersonal abilities.

Required skills

• NEBOSH certification (or equivalent HSE training certificates).
