About the role
The HSES Specialist will apply deep HSES knowledge to support field operations while handling administrative duties. This role requires autonomy and the ability to work in a dynamic environment.
Key responsibilities
- Assist in developing and implementing HSES plans, procedures and instructions.
- Provide HSES guidance, mentorship and coaching to frontline supervision, field personnel and junior HSES staff.
- Monitor subcontractors and vendors for compliance with safe work practices and conduct audits, inspections and risk assessments.
- Plan and execute Permit to Work processes, develop Toolbox Talk materials, and support emergency response drills.
- Participate in incident investigations and prepare related reports.
Required profile
- Degree/Diploma in an HSES‑related field (or equivalent certification).
- Minimum 5 years of HSES experience in the oil and gas sector.
- Knowledge of local and international HSES laws, codes and regulations.
- Strong communication, presentation and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to lead, resolve conflicts and work collaboratively.
