Human Resources Manager

About the role

The Human Resources Manager will lead HR activities for large‑scale industrial, maintenance and turnaround projects. You will partner with operations, project and site leadership to ensure the right workforce is recruited, mobilised, supported and demobilised on time.

Key responsibilities

• Drive rapid manpower ramp‑up and high‑volume recruitment for Turnaround & Shutdown (TAR) projects.
• Manage permanent, project‑based and contract staff, including skilled trades, technicians, supervisors and engineers.
• Oversee employee relations, HR compliance and site HR support throughout project lifecycles.
• Coordinate workforce mobilisation, demobilisation and redeployment aligned with project schedules.
• Collaborate with Operations, Project Management and senior leadership to guarantee workforce availability and project readiness.

Required profile

• 10–15+ years of progressive HR experience, preferably in Oil & Gas, Energy, Power, EPC or similar heavy‑industry environments.
• Minimum 5 years in a senior HR role such as HR Manager, HR Business Partner or HR Lead.
• Proven track record supporting large‑scale industrial maintenance, plant outages and turnaround projects.
• Strong knowledge of UAE Labour Law and GCC HR practices.
• Experience working closely with site and project teams to manage workforce spikes within short timelines.

Required skills

• In‑depth understanding of industrial/project‑driven HR processes.
• Expertise in manpower planning, recruitment, employee relations and HR compliance.
• Familiarity with mobilisation/demobilisation logistics for technical staff.
