About the role

Aldar Education is seeking a passionate Humanities Teacher to join its network of schools for the 2026/2027 academic year. The role involves delivering engaging, play‑based learning experiences to students in their formative years, fostering curiosity, creativity, and personal development.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, prepare and deliver curriculum‑aligned Humanities lessons for a mixed‑ability classroom.
• Create a nurturing, inclusive learning environment with visual displays and resources.
• Assess and monitor student progress, providing feedback and adjusting instruction as needed.
• Collaborate with fellow teachers, curriculum support staff, and parents to support student wellbeing and academic outcomes.
• Participate in interdisciplinary meetings, including sessions with specialists such as speech and language therapists.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of the Humanities curriculum and ability to adapt lessons for diverse learners.
• Excellent communication skills and a collaborative mindset.
• Commitment to building positive relationships with students, colleagues, and families.
