HVAC Design Engineer – Dubai

About the role

The HVAC Design Engineer will lead the development and coordination of HVAC solutions for large‑scale projects in Dubai, ensuring compliance with company policies, quality standards, and local regulations. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams from concept through detailed design and construction.

Key responsibilities

• Manage HVAC design inputs, coordination, and deliverables to meet time, cost, and quality objectives.
• Develop and implement HVAC engineering standards, guidelines, and controls across all MEP disciplines.
• Create and maintain project design briefs, scopes of work, and feasibility studies.
• Review, approve, and resolve inconsistencies in HVAC drawings and designs.
• Oversee consultant design progress, monitor submittals, and ensure compliance with authority approvals.
• Apply value‑engineering techniques to reduce costs while improving performance and lifecycle reliability.
• Lead problem‑solving sessions and coordinate with architectural, structural, and infrastructure teams.
• Conduct site meetings and audits to verify adherence to project specifications.

Required profile

• Proven experience in HVAC design and MEP coordination on complex projects.
• Strong understanding of local UAE regulations and authority approval processes.
• Ability to produce feasibility studies and value‑engineering analyses.
• Excellent communication skills for cross‑disciplinary collaboration.
