HVAC Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The Meydan Hotel is seeking a skilled HVAC Technician to ensure the heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems operate efficiently across the property. You will be responsible for maintaining optimal indoor air quality and guest comfort while supporting the Engineering and Facilities teams.

Key responsibilities

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on all HVAC and refrigeration equipment.
• Diagnose, troubleshoot and repair faults in air‑conditioning, refrigeration and control systems.
• Carry out scheduled inspections, calibrations and testing of equipment.
• Complete work orders, PPMs and job sheets accurately and submit them to the supervisor.
• Select appropriate materials from the engineering store and maintain tools in good condition.
• Ensure safe working conditions, report hazards and comply with all engineering policies.
• Assist other technicians and support emergency response when required.

Required profile

• Minimum 3 years of hands‑on experience in HVAC or refrigeration maintenance, preferably in a hospitality environment.
• Certificate of competency in electrical and mechanical engineering (or equivalent City & Guilds qualification).
• Ability to read basic engineering drawings and work independently with minimal supervision.
