HVAC Technician – Hotel Maintenance

About the role

The HVAC Technician will ensure that all heating, ventilation and air‑conditioning systems at The Meydan Hotel operate efficiently and reliably. You will be responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance, troubleshooting, and supporting energy‑efficiency initiatives in a dynamic hospitality environment.

Key responsibilities

• Perform routine inspections, preventive maintenance (PPM) and corrective repairs on air‑conditioning, refrigeration, boilers, chillers and ducting systems.
• Diagnose faults, calibrate controls and test equipment to maintain optimal indoor air quality and comfort.
• Complete work orders, maintenance logs and job sheets, and report any unsafe conditions to supervisors.
• Select appropriate materials from the engineering store and ensure tools and equipment are kept in good condition.
• Collaborate with Engineering and Facilities teams to support daily operations and emergency response.

Required profile

• Minimum 36 months (3 years) of hands‑on experience in HVAC maintenance and repair.
• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and manufacturer specifications.
• Strong commitment to safety standards and proactive reporting of hazards.
