About the role
We are seeking a dynamic Chemistry Teacher to deliver IGCSE and AS Level programmes for Years 9‑12 at our UK‑curriculum school in Dubai. The successful candidate will create engaging lessons that inspire students to develop a deep understanding of chemical concepts.
Key responsibilities
- Plan, deliver and assess Chemistry lessons for IGCSE and AS Level cohorts.
- Develop curriculum‑aligned resources and practical laboratory activities.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain a safe and well‑managed classroom environment.
- Collaborate with senior staff to align teaching strategies with school objectives.
Required profile
- Master’s degree in Chemistry.
- Diploma in Teaching or B.Ed qualification.
- 2‑3 years of proven experience teaching IGCSE/AS Level Chemistry.
- Excellent communication and classroom‑management skills.
- Ability to foster a motivating and creative learning atmosphere.
Required skills
- Proficiency in MS Office.
