Inclusion Assistant (UAE National)

About the role

The Inclusion Assistant supports UAE national students with additional learning needs, ensuring they can fully access the curriculum and participate in all school activities. This role promotes tailored support that enhances learning, independence, and well‑being within an inclusive environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide direct, differentiated support to students both inside and outside the classroom.
• Develop positive relationships with pupils to build confidence, resilience and independence.
• Implement and adapt strategies for students with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
• Collaborate with families, teachers and the Head of Inclusion to monitor attendance and engagement.
• Attend safeguarding meetings, maintain up‑to‑date training and keep confidential case records.
• Communicate daily with parents, carers and external agencies to coordinate support.
• Participate in school events, routines and initiatives, representing the school professionally.

Required profile

• Diploma in Special Education or a Bachelor’s degree in Special Education.
• Or a Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with at least one year of experience working with students with additional needs.
