Inclusion/SEND Teacher (January intake)

About the role

We are looking for an enthusiastic Inclusion/SEND Teacher to join our school in January. The role focuses on delivering the curriculum to students with diverse learning needs, including late‑entering, ESL, low‑academic, gifted and talented learners.

Key responsibilities

• Plan, deliver and assess high‑quality lessons that cater for different learning styles and individual needs.
• Maintain accurate records of curriculum plans, attendance, assessment data and teaching resources.
• Use media and classroom technology to enhance learning experiences.
• Provide guidance on educational matters and support students’ well‑being.
• Communicate regularly with parents, keeping them informed of progress while respecting confidentiality.
• Collaborate with colleagues on resource development, co‑curricular activities and school events.
• Monitor student behaviour, implement strategies for self‑discipline and manage disruptive conduct.
• Participate in appraisal, CPD and performance‑management processes.

Required profile

• Commitment to GEMS Core Values and school policies.
• Ability to plan and prepare lessons, keep written evidence and adapt resources.
• Strong organisational skills for record‑keeping and reporting.
• Effective communication with parents, ministry officials and team members.
• Willingness to lead or support extra‑curricular programmes.
