Income Auditor

About the role

The Income Auditor ensures that all financial reports at Oaks Ibn Battuta Gate Hotel are accurate, authorized, and compliant with company policies. You will work closely with the finance team and front‑office staff to maintain the integrity of daily revenue data.

Key responsibilities

• Review and verify Night Auditor logbooks, daily revenue, and Food & Beverage reports against supporting vouchers and trial balances.
• Distribute daily reports after obtaining approval from the Director of Finance or Financial Controller.
• Check variance reports to confirm correct rates are applied.
• Audit the city ledger and credit‑card transfers, forwarding details to Accounts Receivable.
• Investigate cash overages/shortages and take appropriate corrective actions.
• Monitor front‑office foreign‑exchange rates as needed.
• Conduct weekly float counts for all house fund holders and prepare monthly summaries.

Required profile

• Degree in Hotel Management or Accounting.
• Minimum one year of experience in a hotel environment.
• Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Opera property management system.
• Experience using Micros, FBM, and SUN System.
• Strong computer literacy.
