Income Auditor

About the role

Viya, the UAE's leading golf and hospitality management group, is hiring an Income Auditor within its Finance department in Dubai. The post reports to the Financial Controller and audits and verifies all revenue transactions, records them and prepares daily and monthly sales and other reports for management in line with Dubai Golf policies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyse variances and correct errors in the Daily Sales Report of EGC with the help of supervisors.
• Audit concept and micro transactions, including discounts, promotions and vouchers, ensuring they follow Dubai Golf policies and are approved where required.
• Print and audit income audit reports, F&B function and golf preparation sheets, and reconcile member transactions with concept and micro reports.
• Update SAP receipts and credit card batch totals in the Daily Sales workbook, and reconcile revenue and settlement variances.
• Segregate cross charges, update the daily banking summary, and archive reports monthly.
• Audit voucher, entertainment and complimentary voucher, and management duty meal checks, and help outlets with credit card and POS technical support.
• Perform surprise cash counts and spot checks on outlet floats, and provide documents for credit card disputes.

Required profile

• Bachelor of Business Administration.
• 2 years' experience in a similar position at a reputable establishment.
• Fluent written and spoken English.
• Self-motivated team player with a pleasant personality.

Required skills

• Excellent knowledge of accounting packages and MS Office.
• Excellent knowledge of Excel.
