Indirect Buyer (External)

About the role

Bosch is looking for an external Indirect Buyer based in Al Matar. The role covers the daily purchase-to-pay cycle, supplier management and commodity strategy for non-production purchases, working closely with internal customers and finance.

Key responsibilities

• Manage the daily purchase-to-pay cycle and resolve invoice issues with Finance
• Implement commodity strategies to secure a long-term, cost-efficient supply of materials and services
• Ensure processes and procedures are used so that work is efficient and compliant
• Prepare and run negotiations for low to medium purchasing volumes
• Generate, document and implement savings, making results transparent
• Handle supplier management: qualification, selection, evaluation, development and classification, including supplier evaluation systems and the approved suppliers list
• Work closely with internal customers and support stakeholders in specification writing for better tender results
• Run and report business cases across categories and handle the commercial contracting process

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration or Supply Chain
• 3 to 5 years of proven experience in indirect purchasing
• Marketing and branding-related procurement knowledge is required
• High fluency in English and Arabic
• Team player, independent and result oriented, proactive, highly organized, detail-oriented and customer centric

Required skills

• SAP knowledge is a plus
• MS Office: Excel, Word, PowerPoint
