Information Technology Engineer

About the role

The role is based in Jumeirah, Dubai and involves managing both on‑premises and Microsoft cloud infrastructures. The candidate must be willing to travel to offshore oil facilities and hold a UAE driving licence with a personal car.

Key responsibilities

• Install, configure, cluster and harden Windows Server environments.
• Manage Active Directory, GPOs and Microsoft Exchange (Hybrid).
• Administer Microsoft 365 suite including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, Intune, Defender and Purview.
• Design and operate Microsoft Azure and Entra ID solutions.
• Maintain System Center SCCM and SCOM for patch and configuration management.
• Handle HPE rackmount servers, blade centres, Synergy frames and MSA storage.
• Implement backup and disaster recovery using Commvault, Veeam and related tools.
• Oversee email archiving (Arctera Enterprise Vault) and email gateway solutions.
• Monitor infrastructure with Solarwinds and manage endpoint protection (Symantec).
• Provide mobile device management, event log management and ITIL‑based incident/problem handling.

Required profile

• Minimum 8 years of experience with on‑premises and Microsoft cloud solutions.
• UAE driving licence and personal car (car allowance provided).
• Willingness to travel to offshore oil facilities by boat or helicopter.
