Information Technology Security Manager

About the role

The Information Technology Security Manager leads the protection of the Authority's digital and information assets by overseeing its information security strategy, governance and operations. The role ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of information systems while maintaining compliance with applicable laws, regulations and internal policies.

Key responsibilities

• Lead the development and implementation of the information security strategy, aligned with corporate objectives and regulatory requirements.
• Oversee the development, implementation and continuous improvement of security policies, procedures and standards under frameworks such as ISR, ISO/IEC 27001 and NIST.
• Direct security risk assessments and audits, oversee risk treatment plans and report significant risks to senior management.
• Lead the response to security incidents and breaches, including investigation, containment, recovery and post-incident reviews.
• Lead information security awareness and training programmes across the Authority.
• Present security reports on risks, incidents, compliance status and recommendations to senior management.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in information technology, computer science, cybersecurity or a related field.
• Minimum of 8 years of relevant information security experience, including leading security teams or programmes.
• Proven expertise in information security governance, risk management, incident response and cybersecurity compliance.
