Information Technology Specialist

About the role
The Information Technology Specialist will support Gadget Express’s IT infrastructure in Dubai, ensuring reliable operation of systems, networks, and applications. The role involves both day‑to‑day support and longer‑term projects to keep the technology environment up‑to‑date.
Key responsibilities
- Deploy, monitor, maintain, develop, upgrade and support all current IT systems, websites, PCs, operating systems, databases, software applications and peripherals.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software and network issues to minimise downtime.
- Install and configure workstations, desktops, servers and laptops.
- Create and configure email accounts on computers and mobile devices and resolve related issues.
Required profile
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant IT experience.
- Experience managing ERP applications is an advantage.
Required skills
- Proficiency with Microsoft SQL Server.
- Knowledge of Sybase databases.
- Hardware, software and network troubleshooting.
- Email configuration and support.
